Is this allowed? It doesn't seem to work. I tried using RewriteRule to transform...
/something/01/05/ into /something.php?item=01&itemtoo=05 but it doesn't work or I'm not doing something right. I followed numerous examples I found through google but it doesn't seem to work. Rewrite Engine is on. I figured before I spend anymore time trying to figure it out I should ask if it's disabled for some reason. Thanks. $200 PLUS million sure buys alot of bling!

RE: Options +FollowSymLinks
Hi,
mod_rewrite is not disabled on our servers so please try out some other things. Try a basic rewrite to confirm it's working on your account and if it is then you know it's something else. |

RE: Options +FollowSymLinks
Rewrite itself works, that much I do know. I read examples on the internet for "search engine friendly urls" and none of the examples worked. Someone said some servers disable FollowSymLinks, so I figured I'd ask if it was for some reason. Maybe there is a conflict in my htaccess with one of my other rules.
Thank you for your time and quick response, and of course for the great hosting
