Been using an Iomega 750g minimax HD for back up of photo's, music etc for an old Macbook laptop running OSX 10.4.11 but all of a sudden, it's decided not to mount on the desktop. I think it's just short of 2 years old and wouldn't expect a drive failure at that age. It's making some sort of disk noise, a bit like a stuck record, if that's any help.

The last time it did it, i ran some software called diskwarrior, which seemed to do the trick (it did a rebuild or something like that) but it's not detecting the drive now, so i'm stuck for ideas as what to do next?

Anyone?

Hi, currently I'm using the .99/month plan, but I need to upgrade shortly -or change hosts- and was wondering...

Why does the DirectAdmin plan allow unlimited domains and unlimited subdomains and Cpanel doesn't?

How many domains and subdomains are allowed for cpanel/.99 each week?

How many users connected at a time in a forum approx. allowed for this plan, what kind of limits? (regarding cpu load, etc)

How would I change plans?

If changing to Directadmin how would it change my home directory, would it change?

Is there a demo for DA? Currently I need/use home directory backup, sql backup and phpmyadmin, and awstats is nice.

Thank you for your time. I don't want to leave here but will be needing more resources soon, esp. domains/subdomains, so I wanted to check on this before my current plan expires.

IS there a catch? I have read through the few posts in this pre-sales forum and there are a few people singing your praises, so you must be doing something right.

The thing is, I've just started up my own website and my current host isn't all I expected, so now I'm on the lookout for a good, reliable hosting company who have good customer service and a fair price. I see the price is fair, but if I need assistance with anything how long should I expect to wait before my e-mails are answered? Is there a premium rate charge for phone calls?

I'm running a business, so would need to add an SSL Certificate. Can I add my own, or would I have to have a shared certificate?
Thanks for your time,
I know none will tell the 'catch', but is there any hidden clause that we might find troublesome?

Thanks in advance.
